Bluemoose takes over Leeds Libraries

Bluemoose in partnership with Leeds Libraries will be taking 'over' Leeds Central Library for the month of June with a series of events, launches and talks. Libraries are an essential service for millions of people in the UK. A safe and magical space to read, learn, borrow books and to discover stories. Without the support of libraries when we first started publishing in 2006, we wouldn't be here today. We are delighted to be hosting a panel of Independent publishers based in the North on Thursday June 9th with Fox and WIndmill from Bradford and Peepal Tree from Leeds. We'll be chatting about bringing stories to you from every inch of the globe. On 16th June, two brilliant Bluemoose authors, Colette Snowden and Anna Chilvers will be talking about their books, writing and their creative practice. We are launching the Bluemoose Non -Fiction list with GHOST SIGNS by Stu Hennigan on Thursday 25th June. Stu will be talking to the wonderful novelist and academic, Heidi James. The book is about poverty and the pandemic and already people are talking about it being the 21st century, 'Road To Wigan Pier.' You are all cordially invited to pop in and see what we're doing, say hello, ask some questions and delight in the great new writers we're bringing to libraries and bookshelves across the globe.
