Jenn Ashworth

Jenn Ashworth is a writer and lecturer from Preston, Lancashire. She studied English at Newnham College, Cambridge and went on to complete a writing-focussed course at Manchester. Before her full-time writing and teaching career she worked as a prison librarian, and she now serves as Professor of Writing at Lancaster University.

She edited the short-story anthology Seaside Special: Postcards from the Edge (Bluemoose Books, 2018) featuring ten writers responding to the north-west coast of England.
