Socrates Adams

Socrates Adams works in bookselling in Manchester and has also made films, most notably co-writing and starring in Wizard’s Way, which won the Discovery Award at the London Comedy Film Festival. He lives in Bristol with his family and continues to combine writing with other creative pursuits.

His novel A Modern Family was published by Bluemoose Books in 2013. The book offers a satirical look at a family under the shadow of a father’s public persona and explores how private lives can unravel when lived in public view.
