Naseem Khan

Naseem Khan was a British journalist, cultural historian and campaigner born in Birmingham to an Indian father and a German mother. She studied at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and her early career included writing for Time Out and the New Statesman. Her work focused on arts and culture, particularly the representation of ethnic minority communities in the UK.

Her memoir Everywhere Is Somewhere, published by Bluemoose Books in 2017, reflects on her life and the work she did to bring diversity into the mainstream of British cultural life.
