Colette Snowden

Colette Snowden is a writer from Manchester. She studied at the University of Huddersfield and went on to work in communications and teaching before publishing her first novel. Her interest in the spaces between silence and speech runs through her work, as does a close attention to the details of ordinary life.

Her debut novel The Secret to Not Drowning was published by Bluemoose Books in 2015, followed by Captain Jesus in 2021. Both books consider the ties of family and the shaping force of the past on the present.
