Leonard and Hungry Paul by Ronan Hession has been short listed for debut of the year in The British Book Awards 2020, which is just brilliant news.

This is the the third short listing Ronan has had since we published his debut twelve months ago, launching Leonard and Hungry Paul at Hodges Figgis, Dublin on March 20th 2019.
Winners will be announced at The British Book Awards, #Nibbies as they are called, on Monday 29th June at The Grosvenor Hotel in London. The last time I was corralled into a suit, I wandered around the awards ceremony in Dublin with the security tag still attached to my trousers. It was an anxious time and I will try to do better in June.
